Goodwill Pack'er Up Challenge
Published on Apr 16, 2013 11:44

Dear Families and Friends of John Long Middle School,

Join us this Saturday, April 20th from 9:00 am-2:00 pm at John Long Middle School to help in our Goodwill Pack'er Up Challenge effort to help our school donate the most amount of items to Goodwill in the month of April and bring Superbowl Champion Donald Driver to John Long!

First week results of the Pack'er Up Challenge were posted last Friday, and revealed that John Long is currently in FIRST PLACE throughout Wisconsin with 1,925 items donated between April 1st and April 2nd. We want to keep this momentum going as we head into the final stretch of the Challenge! We need your help!

The "Driver On Over" Community Goodwill Donation Drop Off Day will take place at John Long Middle School this Saturday from 9:00am - 2:00pm in the large gym.

Gather up your items from your spring clean out and bring them over to John Long Middle School between the hours of 9:00 am and 2:00 pm. All you need to do is "driver" on over to John Long and there will be students and staff available to unload your car, count your items, and bring them to Goodwill. You can just drop and leave, and we will take care of the rest!

Check out the attached flyer about the event. Also, please help spread the word about the Drop Off Day to your friends, family, and other community members.

We are looking for parents, students, and community volunteers to help out at this event at John Long Middle School. We will be looking for volunteers to help unload dropped off items, sort, count, and repackage donated items.

If you can help with the event in any way, it would be GREATLY appreciated! Please let us know! Thank you all!
