Goodwill Community Drop Off Day Part II - Saturday, April 27
Published on Apr 22, 2013 10:37

Happy Monday,

The "Driver On Over" Pack'er Up Community Drop Off Day this past Saturday at John Long Middle School was such a success with 13, 963 items being donated to Goodwill in just 5 hours, we have decided to extend the momentum and have a "Driver On Over" Part II Community Drop Off Day this Saturday, April 27th. We are in the final stretch of the Pack'er Up Challenge and this will be a great way to give a final push to bring Donald Driver to JLMS! If you were unable to make it this past weekend, or are still in the process of that spring cleaning, here is your chance! : )

*See attached Flyer for the new event! Please share the flyer with friends and family.
The event was such a fulfilled day with students (across grade levels: grade school, middle school, and high school), staff, parents, and community members working together for a great cause. There was music, laughter, comradery, and even PIZZA! You know you want to join in that fun this Saturday, April 27th! Check out some of the pictures of the event at

For this Saturday, we are looking again for student, staff, and parent volunteers to help with the cause. We are looking for volunteers to help unload, sort, count, and deliver donated items to Goodwill. Most in need are volunteers with vans/truck who would be willing to do some driving between John Long and Goodwill. We appreciate all the support last Saturday, and look forward to seeing you this Saturday!

Let's keep the momentum and motivation for the Pack'er Up Challenge high right up until the very last day! Spread the word to your students, family, and friends!

8-DAYS-LEFT to reach our goal of 80,000 items donated!
