Tuesday May 13th JLMS - Common Ground Family Technology Discussions
Grafton Schools is partnering with Common Ground of Southeastern Wisconsin to support parent and community discussion of the role of technology in families.  The issue of discussion is technology’s influence (both negative and positive) on children, schools and families and finding or sharing ways we can best manage the impact of technology on our lives.  

The first of these discussions will be Tuesday, May 13 at 7:00 pm in the JLMS LMC.

Destination Imagination
Four Grafton High School Destination Imagination Teams will be going to Global Finals in Knoxville, Tennessee! There are many ways to show your support:  brat fry on May 3rd and May 17th at Grafton Elementary School and Pick N' Save; and a brat fry and car wash at Grafton Elementary on May 10th.  See the attached list for a full description of their fundraisers.

John Long Parent Group
The John Long Parent Group will be hosting a Fundraiser at Culver's in Grafton on Thursday, May 8th from 10:00am - 10:00pm.  Culver's will donate 10% of food sales.  See the attached flyer for more information and the necessary coupon you will need to take with you.

If your 6th, 7th, or 8th grader is interested in Mountain Bike Racing, please attend an information meeting on Thursday, May 8th at the Grafton High School Cafeteria from 7:00pm - 8:00pm.

2014 Girls' Summer Volleyball Camp

This fun and exciting camp will emphasize skill development in serving, passing, setting and hitting. The players will have the opportunity to improve their game through skill drills and scrimmages. The camp will be conducted at a high intensity level and instructed by experienced high school and club coaches. This camp is perfect for any girl anticipating playing volleyball for their school or a club volleyball team.

Dates:  June 23, 24, 25, and 26
Ages:  Entering 6th and 7th grade: 12:30pm - 2:15pm
  Entering 8th and 9th grade:  2:30pm - 4:15pm
Cost:  $30.00
Deadline: May 29th

This camp will focus on teaching fundamental skills with an emphasis on teamwork.  The importance of having FUN while learning the basic skills of the game will be given top priority.

This camp is available to the following girls:

Incoming 3rd - 6th grade girls
Dates:  Monday, July 14th - Thursday, July 17th

Incoming 7th and 8th grade girls
Dates:  Monday July 21st - July 24th

Send Your Coupons Our Way!

Send your coupons our way!

Students in the Transition to Work class at Grafton High School are helping the American Legion Auxiliary Rose Harms Unit 355 collect and cut coupons for military members and their families stationed overseas. 

We are asking you to send in manufacturer coupons that you receive in the newspapers.  You do not need to cut the coupons out.

Coupons may be dropped off in the specially marked box in your school office from Tuesday, February 18 until Friday, June 6.
