Tennis Club will begin Monday, April 2nd

Dear John Long Tennis Club players and parents:

We will plan to start our season Monday, April 2nd.  We will meet at the Grafton High School tennis courts and practice 5 to 6:30 p.m.  Practices will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.  All 5 to 6:30.  The only equipment the players will need is their racquet and maybe some water.  As a reminder, the waivers need to be turned in before the player starts practice.  Extra waivers are available in the office.  We will not have practice during Spring Break.  Practice will resume on Monday, April 16th.  I will send out the match schedule when it is finalized.  See you all then.

JLMS Parent Group News
  • The April 3rd,7pm meeting has been canceled. The brainstorming meeting for the 8th Grade Fun Night (that was going to be held just before the meeting at 6:30) has also been canceled.  If you are interested in being a part of the planning committee for this year's 8th Grade Fun Night at North Shore Cinemas/Zafirros on May 18th, please email lesliep829@gmail.com.  We will be meeting on Wednesday, April 4th at 7:00 p.m. to discuss plans for this fun event for our 8th graders!
  • Mark your calendars for the VIP Spring Picture Day Fundraiser on April 17th.  It's amazing to see how much students have changed from September!  Also, VIP gives our school $2 per student photographed!  Purchase of your child's photos is optional.
  • Thanks to Toni Boll for the Rock Climbing adventure!  We had about 20 kids participate and made $80.  Many students suggest we have a rock climbing club now!
  • Thanks to you, Flipside and Downtown Pizza, JLMS made $80 in the Monday March Madness dining event!  Cousin's Night in February made $81, as well.
  • Spiritwear will be delivered to student's home room teachers as soon as we receive it.
All of the money the Parent Group raises goes right back into our school, thanks for supporting us!
