Grafton Basketball Camps Offered

K-1 & 2-3 Grafton Summer Basketball LeagueSunday nights, May-July.
This will be held at John Long Middle School from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. The cost is $25.00 which will include a team t-shirt.  For more information, see the attached link:

Black Hawk Football Wants You!
On Tuesday, May 1st there will be a sign up meeting at John Long (during the lunch hour) for current 8th grade boys interested in Freshman Football.  There will also be a parent and player sign up meeting on Sunday, May 6th at 6:00pm in the GHS cafeteria.  For more information, please see the attached link:

Destination Imagination Fundraiser

The Ozaukee County ATOD Prevention Consortium Parent Education Committee is proud to present another session of Meeting the Challenges of Parenting Today. This upcoming session will focus on adolescent behavior and brain development, including helping parents understand why kids do some of the things we do.

Event details are below and as always, this event is brought to our community at no charge.

Mark your calendars for the VIP Spring Picture Day Fundraiser on April 17th.  It's amazing to see how much students have changed from September!  Also, VIP gives our school $2 per student photographed!  Purchase of your child's photos is optional.
Save the date:  May 18th, 2012.  8th Grade Only:  Fun Night at North Shore Cinemas in Mequon!  More details to come after Spring Break!

Medication Collection & Awareness Day
Concordia University's School of Pharmacy will be sponsoring a Medication Collection and Awareness Day on Saturday, April 28th from 10:00am - 2:00pm.  Please see the attached flyer for more information.

Grafton High School Dance Team Tryouts 2012
The Grafton High School Dance Team will hold an important informational meeting for those girls interested in trying out for the team. The informational meeting will be Monday, April 2nd, 5:00pm - 5:30pm in the GHS Cafeteria.  

Tryouts will be April 16th, 17th and 18th at 4:30pm - 6:30pm in the GHS Cafeteria.

Cuts will be April 19th, 4:30pm - 6:30pm in the GHS Cafeteria.

Grafton Gladiators 6th - 8th Grade Football Sign-ups

The Grafton Gladiators are a full-contact tackle football program and
play against other area teams of similar size, weight and age. The goal of the program is to introduce as many young athletes to the sport of football as possible and to have a positive experience while doing so.

Registration for the 2012 season will be held at Circle B Recreation at 7:00 pm on Sunday, April 29th and at 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 3rd. Please arrive at the session of your choice by 7:00 pm for a brief presentation.

Grafton School District Summer Learning Classes
For the sixth consecutive year the Grafton School District will provide a variety of learning opportunities for ALL children during the summer. The desire of the School District is to provide children with learning opportunities year round, so they may value learning as a life-long endeavor.  The registration forms for the Grafton Summer Learning Program should be mailed back as soon as possible. First priority registration will begin on March 26. Registrations will be accepted until May 18 or until classes are filled. We are all looking forward to a summer of learning!

 Read the initial Grafton Education Foundation Newsletter.
The mission of the GEF reads, “The Grafton Education Foundation, in partnership with the community, will seek private funding to support and encourage innovative, enriching educational opportunities for students in the School District of Grafton.” Since 2010, the GEF has worked to fulfill its mission and was able to award nearly $12,000 in grants in 2011.
